As educators, we have learned to accept more than just words to illustrate students’ understanding. For many students, non-literary art forms are the most effective means of communication. Photography is one of these arts.
This site, the Weekly Photo Challenge at WordPress.com, offers photographers–from beginner to professional–ideas and challenges for expression using the view through a camera lens. It also offers fine examples of interpretation, which can challenge the cognitive development of students as well as adults.
