This is hopeless. Two days. That’s all I have. Two days, and then…
Great products. Good support from my mentor. But… two more days.
One person responded. Lose 2 to 3 dress sizes in just a few minutes? She’s curious. Wants to know how. Nutritional blogger. So interested in wellness products, too? She’s bringing friends.
Asked everyone to wear bathing suit and bring a towel–two reasons: 1) a dip in the pool; 2) easy to measure for support/shaping garments.
If they’re interested.
If they need support or slimming. For men and women.
If they’re looking for supplements. Or some great skin care products for those “over 25” (Yeah, a euphemism. For older. For old. For wrinkly skin. Especially in these climes…). For better back support. For “corseting”. For you.
More flyers to distribute. Joe took one in for the school bulletin board–but everyone is gone on break. Well, almost everyone. Maybe Susan will stop by…
Gotta get one to Laura, who approved pool use. Interested in support for hubby.
Gotta get one on the community bulletin board at the Guards’ Station. Not everyone is gone yet.
Gotta get one to my nail salon.
Pet Paradise: Got one there this morning. Sandi featured the flyer.
(And the dog loses all the fur protecting him from kitten claws…)
Where else for now?
Another post on FB? A post on Google+? A tweet?
Next week, hit shops. Get there today, if possible. Especially Blast. She sells support garments, may be interested…
Men’s products–hit men’s shops?
OK. Not hopeless: just tight for time. All it takes is one person to be really interested. Mybe two.
Clincher (Lure?): Free “pro” level with minimum purchase: “try it; love it; pass it on” sort of thing. Savings: $300, but only 3 such memberships available. Last day: Thursday. More anxiety. Too late for think time??
Anxiety:
Will the appetizers be OK? Will the wine be acceptable? And the soft drinks?
Will anyone be interested enough to spread the word?
Time. Anxiety-causing time.
Help from unexpected quarters. Friends.
(And then the writing assignments, and the drawing practice, and more ads and flyers–and emails?…)
Busy, busy, busy…
This will work.
If not Thursday, then some other time soon. Someone will want to lose 2 to 3 dress sizes instantly–even if fed first. Someone will want “non-clunky” support for mild to moderate back condition (Legal warning: see doctor before wearing for long periods). And it’s mail-order.
Social media friends old and new might want to know. Maybe not. Maybe I’ll be “unfriended” to avoid embarrassment of lack of interest, or just leeriness…
But I’ve done this sort of thing before–just didn’t put any effort into making it a success.
Effort will go into this one–I believe in the products.
Company gives me lessons in entrepreneurship for free, and that’s priceless. Effort will make this a success: tomorrow, next month, next year–I’ll keep at it. Great company, good ratings; lots of raving testimonials. OK. Those can be faked. But I tried the back support foundation–Lord, the relief!! Me with my crooked spine and fickle leg. Got instant posture improvement. And support. Can’t talk about the support enough…such relief from pain… And the skin care: Friend just got sample. “Put it on half your face,” she said. Instant wrinkle smoothing. Begged for a bit more so both sides could be “equal.”
Best part: No relationship to Amway: too big; too little personal support; every aspect costs–often a lot. Been there, done that. Too many fear the name “Amway.” They renamed it several times in 15 years, as though that would make a difference. Small-print “Amway” not small enough.
No one to fear “Ardyss”–such a pretty name. Young company. Not a pyramid–not sure about this; but all members of a group share in everyone’s success, so maybe not a pyramid. Scarey stuff, pyramids.
Getting psyched. Still anxious, but excited, too!
Thursday. After 5:00 PM. Where I live. Listen. Try on. Be measured. Like or not like. Eat and drink. Make new friends. Swim until tired–the pool is lit up all night…
See you here!
(Still anxious…)

This was great! Loved how easy to read this was. I have one suggestion, maybe highlight some words in bold or underline to show people the next train of your thoughts; like a subheading. Will just make it easier to read.
Thank you for the constructive criticism. I wish more of us would do so. I’ll look at the piece again with your suggestions. 🙂
