Latest news and information for educators Applications open for CORE Education’s Annual Pasifika Education Grant Applications are open for CORE Education’s Pasifika Education Grant. Each year, CORE grants one $5000 scholarship to support teachers of Pacific Island descent. The scholarship, available to Pasifika teachers in early childhood centres and schools, aims to recognise and support the leadership development of Pasifika teachers in various forms, including mentoring and coaching and assistance with professional learning opportunities. Applications close on the 31 May 2012.
